Upcoming Fun Event

Things to Know About PLPs
It was PLP Week! Each month students are given a specific assignment to complete for their Personal Learning Plans. During the third week of each month, advisory times are dedicated to supporting students in working on and completing the section.

9th and 10th graders documented courses they have taken or are currently in on their 4-year high school plan.

11th and 12th graders set three SMART goals.
  • Academic Goal
  • Transferable Skills Goal
  • Personal Goal
How to write S.M.A.R.T. GOALS!

Specific – What exactly do I want to happen?
Measurable – How will I know when I am reaching my goal?
Achievable/Actionable – What actions will I take to achieve my goal?
Relevant/Realistic – Why is my goal important and what plan will I follow to reach it?
Time-Bound – When will I reach my goal?

FYI

PLP progress will be documented on the Progress Reports on November 11th.  A score of "ONTRACK" means the student is up to date with their assignments. A score of  "INC" means the student hasn't completed the requirements.

Complete PLPs are required to be promoted to the next grade and to graduate.
