Classroom Photos

Students of the new Arts Influencer class have been learning about cameras and photography/videography this week. Last week, students had the opportunity to learn, fly, and safely operate a drone with Mr. Messier who is an Arts Influencer teacher and a professional drone pilot (FAA Part 107). Powder Puff Guest Speakers

The Powder Puff team had two speakers recently. Shari Bashaw talked

about the Jim Bashaw Cancer and Catastrophic Foundation and Mike

Campbell talked to the Powder Puff team about his family’s experience

with Camp Ta Kum Ta.

The Powder Puff game is this Saturday, September 30th at 7 pm at CPSC.

Field Trip

The Community Integration Program (CIP) visited the Vermont State House this past Friday (9/22).  Recently, students have been learning about citizenship, the role government plays in our everyday lives, and how our government is structured and functions.

News from Guidance

PSAT Information:

The date for the PSATs has been changed to October 25, 2023.
Friday, September 29th is the last day to register; there will be no exceptions this year due to the test being administered online.
Students will need their chromebooks to take the test.

ASVAB TESTING:
The ASVAB will be held at BFA on 10/25/23 at 8:00 a.m. The assessment career aptitude information can be used for all branches of the military. Must be 16 or older to take the test. Please go to pick up and return the following permission form to guidance.

JV Comet Soccer

On September 27th, the JV Comet Squad coached the St. Albans rec dept. little tykes teams. They were so nice and friendly to the young players. They had a lot of fun and everyone played a part in making sure the little tykes practice went smooth.

Parking🚙🚙🚙- The city of St. Albans has allowed for BFA student parking at the parking garage free of charge. If you would like a parking pass, please stop by City Hall to fill out a form. It has been communicated that if there are incidents of vandalism, unsafe driving and parking, or if trash is left behind, the city will not allow BFA to use the garage. So please represent BFA well.
