Attendance Robo Calls

Hello BFA Families,

Currently, an automated call is sent at 9:00 am to communicate if your student has missed Period 1 and again at 3:00 pm if your student has missed the entire school day.  Going forward, the 3:00 pm call will communicate if your student has missed one (1) or more classes for the day. The purpose of this change is to better notify you if your student is not attending a specific class.   Our proficiency data indicates strong attendance leads to higher success rates in classes.

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you.
Polly Rico, Principal

Senior Community Service

We wanted to take a minute to remind students and families that BFA requires all seniors to complete 10 hours of community service during their senior year to graduate. Community service and paperwork must be completed by May 17th. If you have any questions, please contact Geoff Murray at gmurray@maplerun.org.

Thank you.
Polly Rico, Principal

You can play a significant role in protecting your child from the dangers of vaping and nicotine dependence. Maintain an open line of communication with your kid, and use the tips and suggestions in this guide as a framework for having a productive conversation.

BFA Rotary Interact Fundraiser:
BFA Rotary Interact launched a Blueberry Bush plant sale. The bushes are proven growers and northern grown. Blueberry bushes should be planted in at least groups of two. We are trying to do sustainable and environmentally friendly fundraising. Plants ordered will be delivered in May with directions for planting.

Class of 2027 T-Shirt Sale:

Hello,

Here are the class shirts for the Class of 2027, modeled by our very own Class Secretary Eli Hazen. This will be the class' shirt for the next four years. We would really appreciate you considering buying one to support the class. This is a fundraiser and a way to bring together the class. It would be great to wear them on a particular Friday, at the assemblies, etc. They are $20 each.  They are in room A314 for purchase. We take cash, check, or venmo.

Thanks so much!
Mrs. Parent
