All-State Boys Hockey Team
ETHAN AUDY
BFA-ST. ALBANS
Senior, Defense
• The player: His
calmness and competitiveness on the blue line match BFA captains that came
before him. Audy finished with six goals and six assists on the year with
undeniable skating ability and coordination that enables a wicked shot (12
points on the winter). His work ethic and leadership off the ice stood out to
Bobwhites’ first-year coach Ben Roberts.
• Coach
Ben Roberts on Audy: "He is driven, he doesn’t cut
corners and he is a high character guy. Any team wants a guy like Ethan on
their roster. He has a bright future ahead of him and we are excited to see
what he can do."
Congratulations and Good Luck

Thank you for supporting the first blood drive on campus since COVID. We collected about 60 pints of blood from faculty, staff, students, and community members. Some donors were first-time donors while others were POWER REDs and gave two pints. It is impossible to show all of the pictures or express the joy of being a part of GIVING.
If you see Maya Frost or Ava Dumont, please thank them for organizing the event.

Reminders for Graduating Seniors
Welcome: Principal Blanchard |
Academics April 12 Progress Reports S2 Progress reports will be ready on Thursday! If you find yourself in a situation where you are not passing classes, you must arrange ENR time with your teachers to show proficiency by the end of the year. Do not wait. The late policy waits for no one. June 12th Senior Grades DUE This means that on the 12th, teachers are turning in your final grades which will determine if you are proficient for graduation. Use Enrichment time wisely. Keep up the stamina. You are almost there. |
Personal Learning Plan - PLP June 1st PLP DUE to your Advisor! If you have been following the timeline, you are ON TRACK! You should be finishing up Semester 2 evidence this month. In May, you do the reflection, submit it to your advisor, and then you are done! |
IT - Devices June 12-14th Michael: All Chromebooks and charging cables are due to IT June 12- June 14, 2023. The IT Department will be at the Cap and Gown distribution on 06/14 from 10-12 pm in the Library. That is your last opportunity to return you device & charging cables. Scott: There are several students with multiple devices assigned to them. IT has been locking students’ devices for use if they have more than one device signed out to them, so please stop by the IT office to resolve any device assignment issue. We’ll be emailing out a list of students with multiple devices - check your email. Your Maplerun email account will be removed in November of 2023. That gives you time to move files from your Google Drive to a personal email account if you want to keep any items. Google Takeout can help you facilitate move items to a personal Gmail account. Stop by the IT Department if you’d like more information about “Google Takeout” Library book returns are also due by 6/14! See Mr. Jones if you have any questions.

Next is a message from Stephanie Hodgemen, Guidance Counselor:
This Wednesday, during enrichment (starting at 9:40 in the library), the School Counseling office and Liam Mahabir are running a special 12th Grade Planning Your Future Event for seniors that indicated they want more information on area opportunities (not the traditional 4-year college) in the senior survey or they were recommended by their school counselor. The head of Franklin County Industrial Development Corporation and mayor Tim Smith will join us along with the CCV apprenticeship programs (certificate programs and job placement), Lisa Durocher on continuing education, and in-house guests on resumes, references, etc. We have prizes from a small grant including hydro-flasks, apple wireless fast chargers, wireless speakers, and Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
Lastly, I’ve revised the Culminating Events Calendar to add the All-State Music Festival and Junior Jam May Events!
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me by email tcallan@maplerun.org or call 802-527-6400.
Sincerely,
Theresa Callan
