Friday, April 7, 2023, Weekly Administrative Update

We Are BFA!
"Growing Green and Gold Pride"

Good luck One-Act Performers
at the State Festival this weekend
in Brandon, VT!

Good luck Building Trades Students
in SkillsUSA Competition!
We had a great day at the SkillsUSA state competition on April 6th with 2 students competing in carpentry (Nathan Parent and Hunter Gregware) and 2 students competing in electrical (Camden Johnson and Michael McNall). It’s always great to see the other students and have a chance to catch up with instructors from across the state. We also enjoy our friendly county rivalry with the good people from CHCC Construction Tech, our students enjoy the competitiveness, especially when we each have a student who works for the same electrical contractor! We are looking forward to the results on Monday at the awards ceremony and finding out who the winners are that will compete at Nationals in Atlanta in June! A huge shoutout to Dick and Debbie from Associated General Contractors of Vermont- AGCVT for putting these competitions together, their time and energy is greatly appreciated!

Congratulations March 2023
Business Students of the Month!
The Business Department wants to congratulate and thank Lauren-Kate, Owen, and Cooper for their positive attitudes, being supportive of their classmates and for demonstrating excellence in Business Law and Sports & Entertainment Marketing (Lauren-Kate), Career Exploration and Leadership (Owen), and Personal Finance (Cooper).

Business Management Class
Business Management students presented projects on innovation and product development. They pitched "Shark Tank" style looking for investors. After all ideas were shared, students decided which products to invest in using paper money.

Congratulations Molly Smith!
Molly Smith has been named to the 22nd Annual Free Press All-State Girls Hockey Team!

A Plea from I.T.
Parents, we need your help!!! Many students have multiple Chromebooks checked out to them. Please conduct a search and rescue mission for extra Chromebooks and charging cables around your home. Please have your student return them to I.T. as soon as possible. Thank you.
