Career Connections Presentation with AmCare Ambulance Services

December 7th


Students, On Wednesday, December 7th, during Enrichment, BFA and NCTC will be hosting a career connections presentation with AmCare Ambulance Services. During the presentation,  representatives from the company will discuss job types in the organization, typical responsibilities of the different job types, and what makes a good job candidate/employee. They will also cover what kind of opportunities are available for high school students, recent graduates, as well as individuals who have experience in the field. If you are interested in HEALTH CARE, ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY, PUBLIC SAFETY, and/or EMERGENCY MEDICINE please attend!  Please sign up to attend this on Flextime Manager by searching for the event called “Career Connection Opportunity.” This event will be held live from room B120a. BFA Fine Arts Night
December 8th

On Thursday, December 8th the BFA Fine Arts Department will present its second annual “Academy Arts Night.” The evening will begin with workshops that are open to all at 4 and 4:30 in the Theater and Music areas. At 5 the opening reception will happen in the connector where student art will be displayed, food will be served and music will be provided by both the BFA String Ensemble and the BFA Chamber Singers.

Following the opening reception audience members are free to visit the art exhibit and to follow a schedule of their own choosing that will include Theater, Music, and Dance performances in the PAC, solo and ensemble performances in the connector, and Band, Jazz Band, and Choral ensembles in the Gymnasium. Also joining this event is a jazz ensemble from City School and the SATEC Chamber Singers.

A full schedule of events will be available on the BFA website next week. Please come and support the Fine Arts Department here at BFA.

The Business Department wants to congratulate and thank Alayna, Liam, and Tomas for their positive attitudes, for being supportive of their classmates, and for demonstrating excellence in, Business Management, Accounting, Leadership Training, Sports Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Personal Finance, and the National Business Honor Society.



Coat Drive Update

Yesterday we took another load of coats to CVOEO. We have collected about 750 coats to date from multiple drop-off sites in the community. We are extending the coat drive due to the demand. They are being passed out as fast as they come in. Thank you all for your support.
