Global Citizenship Class Visits

Students in Global Citizenship classes are learning about the UN Sustainable Development Goals and our Engagement Coordinator, Jamie Bristol, has organized several speakers from local organizations to help them see what the goals look like in action!

This week we hosted Julia Andrews, co-founder of the Westford Food Shelf and newly appointed state representative for Milton/Westford to speak about two goals: Zero Hunger & Partnership for the Goals. She highlighted information about food waste & scarcity, how to access local food shelf services, and most importantly, how important volunteerism is for non-profit organizations.
