Up for Learning Workshop
Our Student Voice Committee spent the morning with Up For Learning, an organization that "empowers youth and adults to reimagine and transform education together."
This was the first, of a series of, workshops BFA student leaders will be involved in this school year!
This week Black History Month was celebrated. The Social Justice Club set up a table in the cafeteria lobby where students could enjoy a gallery of info, art, culture, and trivia with prizes!

Hope Happens Here Appreciation Week
On Wednesday and Friday, members of Hope Happens Here stopped by to share a message and give a small token of appreciation to staff members for all they do at BFA every day.
Incoming Student Tours
Last Thursday, BFA Interact/Ambassador students donated their time and talents to provide tours of BFA/NCTC to incoming students and school-choice students and families. Pictured: Sean Baldwin, Sarah McConnell, Ava Dumont, and Schneider Buteau.
Enrichment Opportunities

Business Entrepreneur Student Field Trip
Business Entrepreneur students took a field trip to Outerknown/Project Vermont last week to learn about entrepreneurship through upcycling. Students were able to tour the shop, ask questions, and hear from Scott and Lise-Anne Cooledge about their mission, background, and experience with entrepreneurship in our community.

Krispy Kremes from the NCTC automotive fundraiser helped sustain journalism club students this morning as they edited pages from our annual print edition to prepare for its release soon!Improv Team News
The Improv Team has a show on March 13th at Twiggs at 6:30. We are presenting this for donations only as a fundraiser for The Samaritan House in St. Albans. It's a fun event presented in the spirit of shows like Whose Line is it Anyway and other sketch comedy.

Grace will represent BFA at the Vermont state semi-final to be held at the Barre Opera House on March 9th!
Second and third places went to freshmen Owen Scott and Robbie Gilding. The event was hosted by POL and BFA alumnus Sam Boudreau ('15).
