Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

On behalf of all your students, parents, and colleagues, the administration would like to say thank you. Thank you for being such wonderful educators and for making a positive impact on the lives of so many young people. Your dedication to your craft and to the BFA community is truly remarkable, and we are honored to celebrate you this

Teacher Appreciation Week.

Students wrote "Shout Outs" to teachers. They were read over the intercom 

on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. 

Wednesday had the staff appreciation ice cream truck handing out Ben and Jerry's!

Monday Was Parfait Day...

Calling all teachers, counselors, staff 

to the caf, for a little taste of fun and a laugh 

Some of our days turn out fruity

others smooth and crisp 

What better than to celebrate with a delicious dish? 

Parfait a mix of a healthy kind

Parfait day to say all year you have shined

Thank you for keeping student success on your mind

You are the best staff one could find!

All week students passed along notes of appreciation to staff.

It was nice to have Principal Blanchard's father, Bruce pay a visit to BFA. Bruce played fullback for Coach Bob White 70 years ago in the first Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl VT-NH.

Banner day at the South Burlington Twilight Meet

Kaitlyn Lumbra qualified for the Freshman New Balance National Championship and broke her own Freshman BFA-St. Albans 1500m record by five seconds.

Congratulations Addie Hughes!!

Students are getting us started with infiltration trenches for on-campus stormwater reduction. Thanks so much to Paul Brown's, Dan Plimpton's, and Caroline Schlutius' science classes for their help and enthusiasm in helping slow the flow of runoff at their school.
